Man United star Matheus Cunha posts new message after meeting TV presenter
Manchester United fans have less than a month to wait until their 2025–26 pre-season campaign sparks into life.
Ruben Amorim has a busy summer ahead as he prepares for his first full campaign in charge at Old Trafford, after a debut season to forget which saw Man United finish a lowly 15th in the Premier League.
The Red Devils suffered early exits from both the EFL and FA Cups, and their dismal season came to a head in the Europa League Final, losing 1-0 to Tottenham to miss out on European football altogether.
With financial blows coming left, right and centre since their Europa League Final defeat, United may be forced to read carefully to avoid a PSR breach which could further derail their summer transfer business.

Matheus Cunha ‘in the house’ ahead of Man United debut
United’s precarious financial situation ahead of next season hasn’t bitten immediately at Old Trafford, and the Red Devils have made the most of this with ambitious transfer plans to rebuild Amorim’s squad.
Former chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 9 June that Man United are closing in on the signature of Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, and he could join Matheus Cunha in a new-look frontline.
The Brazilian’s £62.5miliion arrival from Wolves was confirmed by United on 1 June, and Cunha is expected to take Marcus Rashford‘s number 10 shirt at Old Trafford if and when the 27-year-old is sold.
After a spell on international duty with Brazil, Cunha posted on his Instagram story (20 June), in which he met up with Brazilian TV presenter Ney Silva in Recife and said: “Na casa”, meaning “In the house”.

Cunha the first of many new faces at Man United
Football Insider Verdict
Cunha’s arrival in Manchester is expected to spell the end of Rashford’s time with the Red Devils, after Amorim bombed the England international out on loan to Aston Villa in the January transfer window.
Mbeumo and Cunha would be an improvement on last season’s stuttering attack to say the least, but United have been hit with the setback that Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres wants to join Arsenal.
No player is safe as United seek to upgrade on Andre Onana in goal, right through to Rasmus Hojund up front, but their financial problems could hinder Amorim’s ability to truly refresh an ill-fitted squad.
