Man United tipped to accept ‘£20m’ Pogba offer in January after source’s reveal – pundit

Paddy Kenny has told Man United to sell Paul Pogba in January in a bid to recoup transfer funds.

The former Leeds United stopper, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, insists the Red Devils shouldn’t wait until the summer part with the midfielder.

On 19 November, a Man United source told Football Insider that Pogba, 28, could be offloaded in January.

It is understood fringe stars Dean Henderson, Jesse Lingard, Phil Jones and Danny van de Beek could also be allowed to leave.

Pogba is out of contract at the end of the season and could agree a pre-contract deal with foreign clubs in January.

Kenny claims Man United must sell the midfielder in January in a bid to make back as much money as possible from their record signing.

“He’s out of contract so they will try and get something for him,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“Even if it’s £20million, that’s better than nothing. Sometimes you just have to cut your losses.

“He doesn’t look interested in signing a new deal so let him go on his way.

“I’m sure he won’t be missed. He’s barely been pulling up trees since he joined Manchester United.

“Pogba has never done it for Manchester United in the same way he has done for France.

“If I was in charge at Old Trafford, I would be looking to sell Pigba and make as much money back as possible.”

Pogba has made 13 appearances for the Red Devils this season.

He has registered seven assists in the Premier League with four of them coming on the opening day of the season against Leeds.
