Man United to release ‘Ten Hag sack statement today’ after Gary Neville’s claim
Man United supporters have demanded the club sack Erik ten Hag today after Gary Neville’s latest comments on the club’s position.
The 20-time champions suffered their fourth defeat in the Premier League against West Ham on Sunday (27 October) as they were beaten 2-1 courtesy of goals from Crysencio Summerville and Jarrod Bowen.
The result left the Premier League giants 14th in the table after the opening nine games and increased the mounting pressure on the 54-year-old manager.
During his latest Gary Neville podcast on Sky Sports after the game, the former United right-back spoke openly about the situation and the trouble Ten Hag now finds himself in.
Neville said, “They’re 14th in the league and they spent a fortune, you’re asking for trouble.
“I was quite clear at the end of last season that if they’re in the same position again in the league in the first few months of this season, there will be lots of questions being asked, and I suspect internally there are lots of questions being asked.”
Man United fans want Erik ten Hag fired today
Neville believes that United’s next Premier League fixture against Chelsea is one the club cannot afford to lose, but supporters don’t want to see Ten Hag in the dugout for it.
Fans have called for Neville to “grow a spine” and “demand” Ten Hag is fired, while others have claimed it will be “on him” due to the signings Ten Hag has made during his time in charge.
