‘Man United to sack Ruben Amorim immediately after Aston Villa win’ – Fans erupt
Man United fans are calling for Ruben Amorim to be sacked “immediately” following their clash against Aston Villa at Old Trafford.
Amorim’s side brought the season to a close with a 2-0 win at home, after Emiliano Martinez’s first-half red card gave them the advantage.
United created countless chances throughout, before Amad Diallo and Christian Eriksen found the net to prevent the visitors from qualifying for the Champions League.
Despite the result, however, the ongoing frustrations surrounding the manager’s reign have continued to grow as fans suggested he could still be sacked.
Many went as far as to label him “the worst coach we’ve ever had” and “a joke” despite an impressive win against this season’s Champions League quarter-finalists.
This comes after Football Insider revealed on 23 May that Amorim is unlikely to be sacked by United in the near future regardless of their recent results.

Man United make Ruben Amorim sack decision
Football Insider revealed Amorim is expected to be Man United manager at the start of next season regardless of the outcome of the Europa League final.
That is despite Amorim’s admission immeduately after the match that he would walk away without a pay-off if the club didn’t want him.
Concerns have emerged throughout the manager’s tenure about the style of play and his failure to alter his plans to suit the players in his squad.
Meanwhile, former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 22 May that Amorim must take the blame for United’s struggles as pressure continues to rise.
Fans call for Antonio Conte to replace Ruben Amorim
Despite what sources say about the manager’s future, it has done little to stifle calls from supporters for him to lose his job this summer.
Meanwhile, sections of United fans online were distracted by the potential availability of Antonio Conte days after leading Napoli to the Serie A title.
This, combined with what has been a dismal season under the manager, has led to calls for him to be sacked “immediately” after the Aston Villa clash.
