‘Man United to sell Joshua Zirkzee and sign box-office striker’ – fans thrilled

Man United fans believe that Joshua Zirkzee should be sold in the summer to pave the way for a blockbuster striker signing.

The 20-time champions have identified Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap as one potential target for the summer transfer window.

United will face competition to land his signature though amid competition from rival clubs, with Tottenham and Chelsea among those linked.

It was also revealed by Football Insider that Man City have a £30million buy-back clause, should Pep Guardiola decide to bring the striker back to the Etihad Stadium.

Delap has caught the eye of some elite Premier League teams due to his consistent performances for the Tractor Boys this season.

The 21-year-old has scored nine goals and provided two assists in 23 Premier League appearances this season.

If Delap is to make the move to Old Trafford then United fans believe Zirkzee should be the one to make way for him.

The reason why I remind you is because why would you lose hope just because of Zirkzee and Hojlund? Just because they're terrible strikers that we've recently signed, it doesn't mean the next one will be the same. Delap is Premier league level striker so he's much different.
