Man United transfer news: Bruno Fernandes happy’ as ‘huge’ Saudi offer lined up – sources
Man United are not concerned about interest in captain Bruno Fernandes from Saudi Pro League sides, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed Saudi giants Al-Hilal are big admirers of the 29-year-old and are preparing a potentially “huge offer” ahead of the summer window.
But Man United are confident Fernandes remains happy at Old Trafford despite their recent struggles under Erik ten Hag.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that a discussion about the midfielder’s future could take place in the off-season.
Fernandes is under contract with United until June 2026 – and the Red Devils have the option to extend that deal a further 12 months.
The Portugal international joined the club from Sporting CP four years ago and has become a key man at Old Trafford.
He was appointed the new club captain last summer after Harry Maguire was stripped of the title.
Fernandes has managed seven goals and seven assists in 31 appearances across all competitions in the 2023-24 campaign so far.
The attacking midfield star has notched 71 goals and 61 assists in 216 total appearances for Man United.

Al-Hilal and other Saudi sides are keen to bring him to the Middle East – with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema and Neymar already tempted to the Pro League.
Ten Hag’s Man United side sit sixth in the Premier League after winning their last two games.
