Man United working hard to agree Jadon Sancho deal – sources

Man United are working hard to ship winger Jadon Sancho out in the final days of the transfer window, sources have told Football Insider.

Sancho, 24, will be allowed to leave Old Trafford for the right offer before the 30 August deadline.

That is despite a U-turn from Erik ten Hag and club chiefs which has seen him reintegrated into the United squad after a fall-out last season.

Sancho was banished from the squad and eventually loaned out to Borussia Dortmund for the second half of the 2023-24 campaign.

Paris Saint-Germain have been widely linked with the England international this summer.

United are chasing PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte and Sancho could form a key part of their strategy to land the Uruguay international before the transfer deadline.

Man United working hard on Sancho exit as Ugarte plan revealed

Football Insider revealed on Tuesday (20 August) that United plan to boost their transfer kitty with several fringe exits before swooping for Ugarte.

Sancho made a substitute appearance in the Community Shield against Man City earlier this month (10 August) but missed a crucial penalty as Pep Guardiola’s side won the shoot-out after a 1-1 draw.

He was subsequently left out of the squad for the 1-0 win over Fulham on Friday (16 August).

The winger made 21 appearances on loan with Dortmund last term, notching three goals and three assists as the German club reached the Champions League final.

His contract at United runs for two more years.
