Manor Solomon sends message to Leeds fans after ‘permanent Spurs transfer’ plea

Leeds winger Manor Solomon took to social media to send a defiant message to the fans after their dramatic 2-1 Championship win over Sunderland on Monday (February 17).

The 25-year-old was replaced by fellow winger Largie Ramazini directly after Pascal Struijk’s 78th-minute equaliser at Elland Road.

Wilson Isidor opened the scoring for Sunderland in the 32nd minute after turning Ethan Ampadu and scoring past Illan Meslier from a tight angle.

Struijk then got his first of two goals with a header from Joe Rothwell’s freekick before securing all three points in added time with another header.

Leeds‘ win over Sunderland saw them return to the top of the Championship table, two points above second-placed Sheffield United with 72 points from their 33 games.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former PGMOL chief and ex-FIFA Keith Hackett admitted it was a “pity” the fourth official called referee Stuart Attwell into the technical area to book Daniel Farke after a last-gasp winner for Leeds.
