Manor Solomon shares new update from Leeds United’s champions bus parade

Manor Solomon shared an image of himself alongside his Leeds United teammates as the open-top bus parade began in the city centre.

While doubts have been raised over Daniel Farke’s future as Leeds manager in the Premier League, supporters are too busy celebrating in the streets after lifting the Championship title.

It was a truly dramatic final day of the league campaign, going head-to-head with Burnley for top spot, and even going a goal behind Plymouth Argyle on Saturday, 3 May.

Willy Gnonto netted the all-important equaliser before Solomon, who Leeds fans are keen to sign permanently this summer, fired home the winner in added time to get the party started.

49ers to invest heavily to keep Leeds United in the Premier League

Football Insider verdict

Leeds have done some incredible business in recent transfer windows, especially when it comes to adding Tanaka to the centre of midfield, and the loan signing of Solomon from Tottenham.

However, with no new deals for Sam Byram, Junior Firpo, and Josuha Guilavogui, Farke could be stuck for options unless multiple new signings are made between now and the start of next season.

Of course, there will be plenty of time for signings to be made, with full focus currently on celebrating 100 points, 95 goals scored, and one Championship title.

Farke’s previous two experiences in the top tier of English football have both come with Norwich City, but with limited funds, his sides came straight back down to the Championship in rather sorry fashion.

49ers Enterprises need to make sure the manager gets the tools he needs to keep the Whites in the Championship, rather than throw him under the bus when the going gets tough at Elland Road.
