Manor Solomon to Leeds: O’Rourke updates on permanent deal
Manor Solomon is set to leave Tottenham this summer following his successful loan spell at Leeds, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that Daniel Farke is keen to keep the 25-year-old at Elland Road on a permanent basis after his crucial role in their promotion campaign.
However, a number of Premier League sides have expressed an interest in a permanent move for the Israel international.
This comes after former Leeds goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Everton are interested in Solomon and plan to hijack his move to Yorkshire.
Everton believe he would be an ideal addition to their team as they look to strengthen out wide following a strong start to David Moyes’ tenure.
Meanwhile, ex-Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Leeds are desperate to keep Solomon on a long-term deal this summer.

Leeds plot Manor Solomon deal amid busy transfer plans
Solomon scored 10 goals and provided 12 assists in 39 Championship appearances for Leeds, including the winner against Plymouth to clinch the title.
Ahead of their return to the Premier League, Football Insider revealed on 5 May that Leeds are lining up ten new signings to bolster their squad.
Sources say the permanent addition of Solomon is seen as a priority given his role in the side.
Meanwhile, Brown told Football Insider that Leeds want to make six new signings to strengthen their squad and give Farke a fighting chance of keeping his side up.
This comes after Ipswich, Leicester and Southampton are all set to come straight back down following difficult seasons, and the Whites are determined not to suffer the same fate.

Illan Meslier axe forces transfer activity at Elland Road
While the permanent signing of Solomon is high on the list of ambitions at Elland Road this summer, a new goalkeeper remains key.
Brown told Football Insider on 8 May that Leeds will sign a new goalkeeper as a priority this summer amid continued doubts about Illan Meslier.
The 25-year-old was axed for the final seven games of the season and is no longer believed to play a part in Farke’s plans for the future.
Brown told Football Insider on 29 April that Leeds want to sign Wolves goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, who would represent a stable option between the sticks.
