Manor Solomon vents frustrations in new Leeds United message
Leeds United winger Manor Solomon has taken to social media to make his feelings known after their frustrating 1-1 draw with Blackburn on Wednesday (January 1).
The 25-year-old played 70 minutes as Daniel Farke’s side went three points clear at the top of the table despite failing to beat Blackburn.
Captain Pascal Struijk took full advantage of Dominic Hyam’s rash challenge on Mateo Joseph, converting from the spot to give his side the lead in the 88th minute.
Leeds looked set to ring in the new year with a win, but Danny Batth quickly rained on their parade, scoring the equaliser just two minutes later after the home side failed to clear a corner.
Burnley’s 0-0 draw with Stoke and Sheffield United’s 2-1 defeat to Sunderland mean the night wasn’t a total bust for Leeds, as they put some ground between them and their title rivals.
Manor Solomon not happy as Leeds fail to take advantage of the results around them
The winger has struggled since joining on loan from Tottenham in the summer, starting 11 of his 19 games across all competitions, scoring three goals, and providing three assists in his 910 minutes of action.
Solomon took to Instagram after the draw with Blackburn to bemoan the result, saying: “Not the result we wanted to start the year with but we go again Saturday.”

Leeds travel to East Yorkshire to face Hull on Saturday (January 4) as they seek to further extend their lead at the top of the Championship table.
Farke’s side have a jam-packed January, including a crucial trip to fellow title contenders Burnley in their last game of the month.
