Marc Cucurella and Ben White react as Kai Havertz issues Arsenal update
Kai Havertz has dropped an early hint over his situation at Arsenal after a season wrecked by injury.
The Germany international had started the season as the first choice option to lead the line for Mikel Arteta‘s side, scoring some important goals as they challenged Liverpool for the title.
However, Havertz picked up an injury back in February that left him sidelined for much of the rest of the season.
The striker’s absence for Arsenal proved costly for Arteta and co. as they eventually ended another season without a trophy.
Now though, it appears the 26-year-old is ken to ensure he can help the Gunners put that right in the 2025/26 campaign.

Kai Havertz drops training reveal
Havertz would return to action just before the end of the campaign, coming off the bench in the last two games his side played.
He now has a full pre-season to get himself fit and ready for the new campaign, and the Arsenal star looks to be ensuring he does that.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday (5 June), Havertz posted a series of images of himself working on his fitness behind the scenes in the gym.
That was then accompanied by a caption that will no doubt encourage those connected with Arsenal, as he simply wrote the word: “Loading”.
In response, Havertz’s Gunners teammate Ben White – who endured his own injury problems this season – and Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella were among those to show their support by liking the post.
Arsenal striker facing a fight for his place next season
Football Insider Verdict
Even if, as looks like it will be the case, Havertz is ready to return to the lineup from the start of next season, it may still be difficult for him to do that.
This season it has become abundantly clear that the Gunners need more firepower at centre-forward if they are to end their wait for a trophy.
As a result, Arsenal are being heavily linked with moves for Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko in the summer transfer window.
Signing either player would provide Arteta with a solid goalscoring option, and they would want to get a return on their investment in either signing.
That may mean that given Havertz has been guilty of missing some big chances during his time at the Emirates, he will find it hard to get the nod ahead of either player.
With that in mind, the 26-year-old may have to do more than simply get fit if he wants to play regularly for Arsenal next season.
