Marc Cucurella and Tosin Adarabioyo react to Nicolas Jackson’s unexpected message

Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson is currently injured but has sent fans an insight of his current activities on social media.

Chelsea have been without Jackson since picked up an injury against West Ham on 3 February, which has been a major blow to the side as they didn’t bring in a striker in the January window.

With Jackson unavailable, Chelsea’s attacking struggles have become more evident. Marc Guiu was also ruled out at the same time, forcing Enzo Maresca to rely on an out-of-form Christopher Nkunku as the team’s main forward.

The absence of a recognised striker has led to frustration among supporters, with many Chelsea fans calling for Joao Felix to be recalled when Jackson was first injured. However, the Blues have had to push through without their primary option up front.

Chelsea supporters are feeling the impact of Jackson’s injury with the side struggling for goals despite early criticism of the forward. His latest update has given fans a glimpse into his current activities, sparking hope that he may return to action soon.

Marc Cucurella and Trevoh Chalobah respond to Chelsea teammate’s post

Jackson took to Instagram to share images of himself attending London Fashion Week, captioning the post “LFW” while posing on the runway.

While the post suggests the striker may not be ready in time for Chelsea’s Conference League clash against Copenhagen on 6 March, his teammates were quick to react. Marc Cucurella, Tosin Adarabioyo, and Trevoh Chalobah all showed their support by liking the post.

Chalobah shared his own message with Chelsea fans and is also recovering from injury, though his return is expected to be sooner than Jackson’s.

Chelsea supporters have been frustrated with the board after club’s handling of the striker situation, especially after they failed to bring in attacking reinforcements during the winter window.

Enzo Maresca must find solutions amid Chelsea’s attacking struggles

With Jackson sidelined, Maresca has given Nkunku more opportunities in the league despite speculation linking him with an exit. Man United were linked with a swap deal for Nkunku as the Blues showed interest in Alejandro Garnacho but no move materialised.

Jackson has been a key figure this season, featuring in 24 matches and making 22 Premier League starts while scoring nine goals.

However, with the Senegalese striker still not close to returning, Nkunku will likely continue to lead the line as Chelsea prepare improve their form as they have recorded three losses in their last four games.
