Marc Guehi to Arsenal odds slashed after ‘massive offer’ reveal
Marc Guehi’s future is almost certainly away from Crystal Palace, with the defender’s contract set to expire in the summer.
Guehi’s move to Liverpool broke down last summer and multiple teams have subsequently entered the race to try to sign the England international.
Currently, foreign sides are able to enter into a pre-contract agreement with Guehi due to his expiring deal at Selhurst Park.
The defender has established himself as one of the best centre-backs in the Premier League at the Eagles, and was key to their FA Cup victory last season.
However, the bookies believe that the defender will remain in England and could even make a move this January transfer window, with Arsenal’s odds to sign the Palace star being slashed.

Arsenal just 10/1 to sign Marc Guehi
In recent days, Arsenal have been linked to Guehi.
It comes amid an injury crisis at the back for the Gunners as Mikel Arteta finally aims to guide the North London side to a Premier League title.
- Guehi joined Crystal Palace in 2021 from Chelsea
- The defender has gone on to become a star player at Selhurst Park, winning both the FA Cup and Community Shield
- Guehi is also Crystal Palace’s captain
As a result, their odds of signing the defender now seem significantly more likely according to the bookies.
One bookmaker has the Gunners as the second-favourites to sign Guehi alongside Liverpool, at just 10/1.
Oddschecker on 10 January has confirmed that Arsenal’s odds of acquiring the defender have been slashed.

Man City remain the favourites to win the race for his signature at 5/2.
What has Oliver Glasner said about Guehi’s future?
While multiple sides will be hoping to sign Guehi on a free transfer in the summer, a move away from Selhurst Park cannot be ruled out in January.
Multiple top sides are aiming to win the Premier League title this season, and the addition of the defender could tip the odds.
Therefore, when discussing Guehi’s future, Palace manager Oliver Glasner has refused to rule out a potential sale this month if the money is right.
He said on 8 January: “I’m not naïve. If a massive offer comes from City and Marc wants to do it, it will happen. If you’re just valuing sports, everyone in the club will say Marc has to stay.
“The chairman will tell you the same. But it’s not one-dimensional. If you see the financial situation, it’s very important.
“Everybody wants him to play for Crystal Palace, sign a new contract and stay here forever. His contract ends in the summer and if somebody comes… there will be a moment when the club says: now the financial issue is more important than the sports issue.
“We have to do it and try to get the best one (replacement) we can get to be as successful as possible.
“There will be a threshold where the club has to say it will happen, as long as Marc says ‘I want to leave’, because the final decision is always with the player.”
