‘Marco Silva plans to accept Tottenham job offer after Fulham twist’
Marco Silva is keen to become the next Tottenham manager if they decide to part ways with Ange Postecoglou at the end of the season.
That is according to former Spurs and Man United scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected at his former clubs, as he exclusively told Football Insider that Silva is ambitious and wants to take a step up to a bigger club.
He believes he has taken Fulham as far as he can, and if they miss out on Europa Conference League football, he will be open to offers should they arrive.
The Cottagers are currently 11th in the Premier League, just two points short of Bournemouth in eighth with three games left to play.
This comes after Football Insider revealed Silva wants to join Tottenham and has a release clause in his Fulham deal which would allow him to walk away for a fee.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed Postecoglou could stay at Tottenham if he leads his side to Europa League success at the end of the season.

Marco Silva wants to replace Ange Postecoglou at Tottenham
Brown previously told Football Insider in March that Silva is among the leading candidates for Tottenham if they decide to pull the trigger.
The former scout who has a wealth of experience working closely with elite-level managers including the likes of Sir Alex Ferguson for over a decade at Man United, has insisted Silva would take the job should an offer be made.
“Marco Silva wants the Tottenham job,” he told Football Insider.
“No matter what we say, Tottenham is a very lucrative job and it’s one any manager would be interested in.
“They’re a big club, regardless of how well they’re doing on the pitch.
“Silva has done a very good job with Fulham, when you look at the stature of the club and the finances he has available to him.
“But I get the feeling he has taken them as far as they can go by challenging for Europe.
“If they don’t get into Europe, and he’s offered the job, I have no doubt he’ll take it.
“It’s just about whether Spurs feel he is the right man for the job at the moment, because there are a lot of contenders and people they’ll be looking at.“

Andoni Iraola to pen Bournemouth deal in new Spurs blow
Tottenham have identified multiple candidates to replace Postecoglou at the end of the season, but have been dealt a fresh blow in their efforts.
Football Insider revealed on 2 May that Bournemouth believe Andoni Iraola will sign a new contract despite the emerging interest from Spurs.
The Spaniard is believed to be happy on the South Coast, and the Cherries have been doing everything possible to tie him down to a new long-term deal.
This comes after Brown told Football Insider that Iraola is Tottenham’s top target to replace Ange Postecoglou should they decide to pull the trigger.
