Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo respond to Aaron Wan-Bissaka’s West Ham work message
Aaron Wan-Bissaka caught the attention of his former Man United teammates as the full-back prepares for the upcoming season with West Ham.
It was an extremely difficult 2024/25 campaign at the London Stadium, with the Hammers bringing in Julen Lopetegui as David Moyes’ successor before appointing Graham Potter in January.
With the Irons finishing 14th in the Premier League last season, supporters are expecting huge changes over the summer, and Keith Wyness told Football Insider that West Ham are already “unhappy” with Potter.
Wan-Bissaka was a rare positive for the London club, notching two goals and five assists in his first season since leaving the Red Devils on a £15million deal [BBC Sport], with only Jarrod Bowen assisting more.
The flying right-back has now taken to social media to share a new update from the training ground as the Hammers prepare to kickstart the 2025/26 campaign against Sunderland on Saturday, 16 August.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka returns to West Ham
Taking to Instagram (10 July), Wan-Bissaka wrote: “Work mode,” with spider cobweb and hammer emojis, sharing a series of images from the club’s pre-season training in East London.
Man United stars Marcus Rashford, Amad Diallo, Leny Yoro, Andre Onana, and Diogo Dalot all liked the post, joined by Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke, Aston Villa’s Ezri Konsa, and Everton’s James Garner.
Graham Potter to rebuild new squad around current stars
Football Insider verdict
There is no doubt that Potter faces a difficult challenge at the London Stadium, having failed to impress during his first 19 games in charge after taking over from Lopetegui.
Supporters are very aware of which positions need to be instantly improved, with Mick Brown telling Football Insider that West Ham are eyeing a new “top-class” defender to add to the backline.
Keeping Bowen is the biggest key for the Hammers this summer, especially as Mohammed Kudus edges closer to a Tottenham switch, possibly £30million below his release clause.

With Crysencio Summerville still sidelined, an uncertain future for Michail Antonio, and Maxwel Cornet likely to leave, the manager will be desperate to add more goals to the team.
Only Bowen scored more goals than Tomas Soucek, who bagged nine goals in the league, and that is exactly why the Irons struggled to climb up the Premier League table last season.
There is also a lot of deadweight within the current squad, but unless Potter can get some key backing from the boardroom this summer, he could face even more pressure next term.
