Marcus Rashford and Garnacho respond to Bruno Fernandes’ message as he packs his bags

Bruno Fernandes provided fans with an update as rumours surrounding his Manchester United future continue to swirl.

The Portuguese midfielder has once again proven to be United’s most influential player, despite a chaotic first campaign under Ruben Amorim.

Even with mounting pressure from supporters, Football Insider revealed that Man United intend to stick by Amorim, following a hugely disappointing 15th-place Premier League finish and a Europa League final defeat to Tottenham which saw them miss out on European football altogether.

Fernandes still produced exceptional numbers, registering 39 goal contributions across 57 appearances in all competitions. However, his future at Old Trafford remains uncertain, largely due to the club’s financial situation.

Man United supporters have already begun to say their goodbyes to Fernandes, after reports emerged suggesting that his agent has held positive talks with Al-Hilal over a potential big-money move this summer.

Despite ongoing speculation over his future, the Manchester United captain made it clear where his focus lies as he joined up with the Portugal national team ahead of their Nations League clash with France.

Fernandes shared a photo of himself arriving at camp with his bags packed after jetting in for international duty.

The post drew a wave of reactions, with likes from teammates Mason Mount, Marcus Rashford, and Arsenal’s Declan Rice. Alejandro Garnacho also left a comment that appeared to reference fan chants about Fernandes, writing: “Bruno, Bruno, Bruno…”

While reports indicate that many Man United players want Fernandes to stay, the club could be forced into a tough decision. After failing to qualify for European football, United’s financial situation has taken a hit, making an unpopular sale more likely.

Football Insider previously revealed that Man United could accept an offer in the region of £80–100 million for Fernandes, with Saudi side Al-Hilal showing strong interest in the midfielder.

Garnacho may be enjoying himself on social media, but behind the scenes, his future at Old Trafford looks equally uncertain.

Football Insider revealed that Garnacho is still in high demand despite his recent bust-up with manager Amorim.

Reports suggested that Amorim has told Garnacho to look for a move elsewhere this summer, making it clear the 20-year-old is not part of the manager’s plans going forward as a wider squad overhaul begins.
