Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes react to message from ex-Man United ace Paul Pogba
Marcus Rashford and Bruno Fernandes reacted to a message from former Man United star Paul Pogba on social media.
The French midfielder is coming off the back of an 18-month ban for failing an anti-doping test that resulted in Juventus terminating the 32-year-old’s contract.
Whilst the midfielder’s return to Turin ended after just 12 appearances, the World Cup winner remains a revered character within the world of football.
After resuming training earlier in 2025, some United fans had called for Pogba to be re-signed by the club.
However, the Frenchman’s return to competitive football will instead see the ex-United man compete in his home nation for the first time at a domestic level.

Paul Pogba reunion at Man United remains a fun hypothetical
Football Insider Verdict
Under Ruben Amorim‘s stewardship, it was never going to happen. But the idea of Pogba returning to United is a fun one.
In purely tactical terms, the Frenchman would have actually been a very neat fit in the Portuguese boss’ set up.
Pogba never really settled in the traditional 4-2-3-1 system that was primarily employed by the United managers he worked under.
But in his first spell in Italy, the 32-year-old thrived in a midfield trio alongside Arturo Vidal and Andrea Pirlo with a back-three behind them.
However, there is more than just tactics when it comes to being a success in football, and Amorim has made clear his distaste for any players who do not comply with his methods, as Rashford found out in 2024.
Hopefully, Pogba will thrive in France. The Frenchman is a truly one-of-a-kind player who makes football all the more fun to watch.
