Marcus Rashford responds to Amad Diallo’s message to Man United fans

Marcus Rashford appeared to show support for his parent club as he shared a message for Amad following Manchester United’s impressive Europa League semi-final victory.

Man United cruised into the Europa League final after a dominant 4-1 win over Athletic Club, completing a 7-1 aggregate triumph across both legs.

Mason Mount made a major impact for Ruben Amorim’s side, scoring a superb brace to help seal the result off the bench.

Amad also stood out during the match, delivering a composed performance and providing the assist for Rasmus Hojlund’s goal.

Plenty of United players reacted to the win online, including Bruno Fernandes, who sent a message to the Man United fans – but Amad had a message of his own following the result.

Marcus Rashford praises Amad as Man United permanent exit looms

Amad posted a short message to supporters on Instagram after the Europa League semi-final win, saying simply: “See you in Bilbao.”

Plenty of his teammates responded, including Fernandes who reacted with an emoji, while Marcus Rashford — currently on loan at Aston Villa — replied: “Baller.”

Rashford has enjoyed a resurgence since joining Villa in the January window, having fallen out of favour under Amorim at the club.

However, an injury has now ruled him out for the remainder of the season, with speculation continuing to swirl over his long-term future.

Former Tottenham goalkeeper Paul Robinson told Football Insider that Rashford is unlikely to play for Man United again following the circumstances of his winter exit and the ongoing talk over a permanent move.

Barcelona remain interested in Rashford but face competition from Aston Villa, who are keen to make the loan deal permanent this summer.

Meanwhile, Amad has emerged as a key figure under Amorim, thriving in Rashford’s absence and playing an integral role in United’s campaign despite some injury setbacks.

Man United consider Alejandro Garnacho sale amid winger reshuffle

Should Rashford leave, United would bank pure profit from the deal — a timely financial boost as the club continue efforts to comply with financial regulations.

A second major exit may also be on the cards, with Football Insider revealing that Man United are open to selling Alejandro Garnacho, as Chelsea prepare to reignite their January interest.

With multiple wingers potentially on their way out, it could pave the way for major reinvestment during what promises to be a crucial first summer transfer window for Amorim.
