Marcus Rashford sends message to Tyrell Malacia after big Man United development
Man United star Marcus Rashford sent a message to teammate Tyrell Malacia after he made his long-anticipated comeback from injury.
Malacia, 25, returned to action for the first time in 17 months for Man United Under-21s in their 4-1 EFL trophy defeat Huddersfield Town on Tuesday (November 12).
The left-back hasn’t played since his substitute appearance for the Netherlands in their 3-0 Euro 2024 qualifier win over Gibraltar.
A devastating knee injury and two complex surgeries have significantly derailed his Man United career, causing him to miss the last 70 games across all competitions.
With Luke Shaw also back in the fold, new manager Ruben Amorim will have two natural left-backs eager to fight it out for a starting birth at the club for the first time this season.
Marcus Rashford glad to see Tyrell Malacia back in Man United action
With only two Premier League goal contributions in 763 minutes of play, Rashford, 27, is another player who will be hoping to impress the new manager after a frustrating start to the season.
Luckily he has the next two weeks to put the work in after once again missing out on Lee Carsley’s England squad for their UEFA Nations League games against Greece and the Republic of Ireland.
Excited by Malacia’s return, Rashford took to Instagram to send a quick message to his teammate on Man United’s official account.

Amorim and his new Man United side will face Ipswich Town in their first Premier League game together once the international break is over.
Sitting in 13th with just 15 points from their opening 11 league games, the only way is up for the 20-time Premier League champions as the new era begins.
