Marcus Rashford shares injury update footage amid Man United, Aston Villa talks
Marcus Rashford has shared fresh footage of his training programme after suffering a huge injury blow at Aston Villa.
The Man United loanee has caused a splash at Villa Park, notching four goals and five assists in 17 appearances, joined by PSG loanee Marco Asensio, who has seven goals and three assists.
Villa fans have fallen in love with both Rashford and Asensio, even though supporters are often warned about doing so with loan players, and Unai Emery is set to complete the season without one of them.
The 27-year-old’s hamstring injury is expected to sideline him until the end of the season, prompting Villa and Man United to hold talks over plans for the England international’s final few weeks of the campaign.
However, it appears that the player is not ready to rule himself out of the Villans’ important clash against Tottenham on Sunday, 18 May, given he will not be allowed to face his parent club on the final day.

Unai Emery must call on Ollie Watkins for Champions League qualification
Football Insider verdict
The Villans are just three points outside of the Champions League qualification spots, but with Newcastle United, Chelsea, Man City, and Nottingham Forest all battling, it is impossible to tell what could happen.
Losing Rashford at this critical time is, obviously, a massive blow at Villa Park, but it is now time for Emery to fix the relationship with Ollie Watkins after leaving the striker on the bench lately.

Supporters have been critical of the 29-year-old, and even despite his 16 goals and 13 assists across all competitions, it has been a subpar campaign compared to the standards he has set.
With no other recognised striker in the squad, though, Emery will have no other choice but to put his faith back in Watkins for the remaining matches against Fulham, Bournemouth, Tottenham, and Man United.
The Villans have every chance of securing a spot in the Champions League ahead of next season, and recreating a similar run like the one that ended with defeat to PSG, but it is a very tough run-in.
