‘Marcus Rashford should be axed by Man United’ – fans react to Sky reveal
Man United boss Ruben Amorim has been urged to drop Marcus Rashford as his first order of business since taking charge of the team on Monday (11 November).
Sky Sports looked into Rashford’s goal involvements over 90 minutes from the past 10 seasons, which shows the 27-year-old’s drastic dip in form.
Rashford averaged 0.36 goal involvements during the 2023-24 campaign and he currently averages 0.24 for this season, which is his lowest productivity rate during his time at the club.
The England international has scored just one goal and provided one assist this season across 11 Premier League appearances.
Amorim will get the chance to work with Rashford firsthand this week, as the winger was once again not chosen to be part of the England squad.
Man United fans want to see Marcus Rashford moved on
There are concerns about Rashford’s fitness levels as he has been substituted in 13 of his 16 starts in all competitions.
However, due to him coming through the academy, there is a willingness to try and get him back to his best.
United fans are less patient about Rashford’s future as they’ve claimed he “is not doing enough,” and that it’s “time to move on” for him.
