‘Marcus Rashford to leave Man United’ after Gary Neville’s reveal live on air – fans
Man United supporters want to see Marcus Rashford leave the club following Gary Neville’s damning statements after the Manchester derby.
The 27-year-old was completely left out of the United squad on Sunday (16 December) as Ruben Amorim made a statement while his team went on to win 2-1.
Neville spoke on Sky Sports about Amorim’s decision to drop Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho and how standards have to improve.
Neville said, “I don’t know about their long-term future but what is really clear is he’s mentioned engaging with teammates, he’s mentioned standards, so he’s given us clues, in fact, emphatic clues as to what’s happened in the last few days that they’ve been moping, not doing their bit around the training ground.
“Not engaging with their teammates properly, standards in training and he’s thought, ‘No, I’m not having it, I’m not accepting it,’ and good on him.
“For far too long we’ve seen players mope around that pitch and still continue to get a game, no, it’s got to be non-negotiable. If you don’t give your all in your job, you’re gone, that’s it.”
Man United want Marcus Rashford to be sold
United supporters have seen and heard enough about Rashford after Amorim’s decision and claimed there are “no excuses” for him and that he must “do better.”
Others have claimed that players have to “work hard” as some stated that the versatile forward is “not good enough for United.”
