Martin Keown makes stunning Jurgen Klopp to Man United claim: ‘I believe’
Martin Keown has made a shock claim that Manchester United should appoint legendary Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp.
During his time at Anfield, Klopp led the Reds to the Premier League title, the Champions League, two Carabao Cups, and the FA Cup.
The German’s successor, Arne Slot, successfully steered Liverpool to Premier League glory in his first season.
Meanwhile, Man United are struggling under Ruben Amorim and finished just 15th in the top flight after enduring 18 league defeats.

Liverpool hero Klopp could do an ‘incredible’ job at Man United
Amorim knows that he must perform better next campaign, as he prepares for his first full season in charge at Old Trafford.
Meanwhile, speaking live on talkSPORT [2 June], Keown said: “The number of games that they’ve lost, I’m still concerned that maybe this is not the right manager for Manchester United.
“It’s going to be a very interesting start to the season.
“They could do a lot worse than go and get Jurgen Klopp to manage their football club. I’m not trying to sensationalise.
“I believe that he might do an incredible job there. They need somebody, perhaps, with a bit more experience than the current manager.”
Amorim recently found himself in the headlines when the Man United boss fell out with Alejandro Garnacho.
Manchester United enter the race for Tyler Dibling
While it is extremely unlikely that Liverpool icon Klopp will ever take the managerial reins at Old Trafford, Amorim has plenty of work to do in the transfer windows.

Man United have already signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves, and the Brazil international could prove to be a perfect fit for the 40-year-old’s system, which uses two ‘number 10s.’
But Cunha is far from the only signing the Red Devils will have to make this summer, as Amorim looks to reshape the squad he inherited from former boss Erik ten Hag.
Man United want to sign Tyler Dibling, but face competition from the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, and Tottenham, as exclusively revealed by Football Insider.
Dibling has proven himself as a quality Premier League player despite suffering relegation with a Southampton side who won just two games in the top flight this term.
Furthermore, the Saints star is still just 19 years old and boasts plenty of potential, which could make him an appealing acquisition for Man United.
