Martyn Waghorn responds to Jamie Vardy amid Rangers talks
Martyn Waghorn has responded to an update shared by Jamie Vardy amid the news that Rangers want to sign the former Leicester City striker.
The 38-year-old was a shining light for an otherwise poor Foxes side last season, notching nine goals and four assists in 35 Premier League appearances.
Vardy is available as a free agent this summer, after leaving Leicester as a legend who scored 200 goals in 500 appearances for the East Midlands club.
Following his Foxes exit, Football Insider have exclusively revealed that Rangers are in preliminary talks to sign Vardy.

Russell Martin has already been busy in the transfer market this summer, as Rangers have signed Max Aarons on loan from Bournemouth, as well as permanently signing Joe Rothwell, Emmanuel Fernandez, and Thelo Aasgaard.
Meanwhile, as the Bears eye his services, Vardy shared a video of himself training on Instagram on Monday, 7 July.
Former Rangers forward Waghorn commented with a flex bicep emoji.

Vardy will favour Ibrox move over Wrexham transfer
Football Insider verdict
Amid the significant advances for his signature from Rangers, Vardy has also been linked with Wrexham, who boast admirable ambition after winning three successive promotions.

But while the Red Dragons could offer the veteran a route back to the Premier League, if he was content with playing for a potential Championship promotion challenger, he would have stayed with Leicester, where he is held in exceptionally high regard.
Therefore, if Wrexham make a swoop for the 38-year-old, he will favour a move to Ibrox over making a switch to the Welsh club, as Rangers can offer him a serious opportunity to win more silverware in the twilight of his career.
The former England international has proven that he is still a capable attacker in the Premier League, and should consequently be able to fire the Bears to success amid the fierce competition from bitter rivals Celtic.
Meanwhile, Ibrox News have exclusively revealed that Hamza Igamane is set to join Lille after impressing in Rangers colours last term.
