Amad posted a heartfelt message to Manchester United supporters after their final day win over Aston Villa.
Man United closed out a disappointing season with a 2-0 victory against ten-man Aston Villa at Old Trafford, finishing 15th in the Premier League table.
Amad was among the standout performers, heading home from a superb Bruno Fernandes cross, while Christian Eriksen marked his final appearance for Man United with a goal of his own.
However, the match wasn’t without controversy. Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett slammed referee Thomas Brammall for his decision to disallow a goal by Morgan Rogers.
The referee blew for a foul on goalkeeper Altay Bayindir, though replays suggested Bayindir didn’t have the ball under full control when Rogers tackled him and poked it into the net.

Amad was one of the few United players to speak out following the club’s devastating Europa League final defeat—and he shared another message as the season officially came to a close.
He posted: “THANKS TO ALL UNITED FANS FOR THE SUPPORT NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENED. SEE YOU NEXT SEASON REDS” followed by a heart emoji.
The message drew a wave of support from both current and former teammates, with the likes of Mason Mount, Joshua Zirkzee and West Ham’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka among those who liked the post.
Amad has been important for Man United and a key figure in Ruben Amorim’s squad this campaign. Following the winter departures of both Marcus Rashford and Antony, much of the attacking burden shifted onto the 22-year-old—and he has risen to the challenge impressively.
He’s been involved in 20 goals across all competitions, an outstanding return for his first full campaign as a regular starter for the Red Devils.
Ruben Amorim expected to remain at Man United despite fan frustration
Despite ending the season with a win, Man United supporters called for Amorim’s dismissal after a lacklustre campaign.
However, Football Insider revealed that Man United intend to stand by Amorim and back him into next season.
United’s failure to qualify for European football, along with a 15th-place league finish, is expected to impact their summer transfer strategy. Nevertheless, the hierarchy believe Amorim deserves more time and are prepared to give it, at least for now.
