Mason Mount is ‘huge Jurgen Klopp admirer’ as Liverpool eye summer move – sources
Mason Mount is keen on a move to Liverpool this summer as talks over a new Chelsea contract hit the rocks, sources have told Football Insider.
Sources told this site on 15 February that Mount is demanding pay parity with top-earning Blues stars in order to commit his long-term future to the club.
It is believed that the 24-year-old is keen to play under Reds boss Jurgen Klopp as he is a “huge admirer” of the German.

Talks between Mount and Chelsea are now deadlocked and clubs like Liverpool and Juventus have let their interest be known via intermediaries in prising him away from Stamford Bridge.
The England international has less than 18 months left to run on his current deal.
He nets a reported wage of £80,000-a-week at present and has been left unsatisfied by the renewal offers made to him thus far.
Mount has managed three goals and six assists in 32 games as a regular starter so far this season – but has been rotated more often by manager Graham Potter in recent weeks.
Football Insider revealed last month (24 February) that Liverpool have set their sights on signing three new midfielders this summer as they brace for a total overhaul.
Reds stars James Milner, Naby Keita and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain are set to leave Anfield for free when their contracts expire in June.
The likes of Fabinho and Thiago Alcantara have also struggled with injury problems this season.

Champions League qualification is still possible for Liverpool – they are just six points adrift of fourth-place Tottenham.
They face third-place Man United on Sunday (5 March).
