Rodgers details length of Leigh Griffiths injury blow ahead of Celtic v Hearts
Celtic have been dealt a huge blow with the news that Leigh Griffiths will be out for a month with the calf injury he suffered against Hibernian.
Brendan Rodgers revealed the news in a press conference before the Bhoys’ upcoming match against Hearts.
Brendan Rodgers says they’re getting one of the shining lights of the Chelsea academy, with Charly Musonda set to join on 18 month loan deal.

The news is particularly cruel for the Scotland international, as he had finally found some good form, scoring the winner against Partick and the only goal against Hibernian and putting himself in pole position to be the Hoops number one striker before the injury struck.
Griffiths will miss some big matches in the month ahead, most significantly the Europa League last 32 clash against Zenit.
The injury to Griffiths could also have an impact on Moussa Dembele’s future, as it would be a mistake for the Bhoys to even consider selling the Frenchman when they are already a man down in the striker department.
The Hoops may now be forced into the transfer market to replace Griffiths, or perhaps impending new arrival Charly Musonda may play further forward.
Griffiths will naturally miss the game against Hearts, a game which will see Celtic looking to gain revenge against the only side to have beaten then so far in the Scottish Premiership this season.
In other Celtic news, the Hoops may well regret not signing another striker in January
