Seventh reported Celtic injury threatens to derail entire season

Celtic just can’t seen to catch a break when it comes to injuries this season.
The latest player to be ruled out is Nir Bitton, who is set to miss most of the rest of the season with a knee injury, as reported by BBC Sport.
The 26-year-old might not have started every game for the Hoops, but he is a handy players to have that can play in a number of positions.
But now he joins the likes of Craig Gordon, Dedryck Boyata, Tom Rogic, Patrick Roberts, Stuart Armstrong and Leigh Griffiths on the Hoops’ incredibly lengthy injury list that has now been bumped up to seven names.
The injuries are having a serious impact on the Bhoys’ season, as they are set to face Zenit in the last 32 of the Europa League without a host of key players.
If the Bhoys had a fully fit squad available they would arguably be favourites to win the tie, but now it looks like a very difficult task.
Brendan Rodgers and the medical staff at the Scottish champions need to find a solution to the problem before it starts to affect next season as well, as with the Champions League qualifiers taking place in July, there is a chance some players might be out for those massively important games.
