Matheus Cunha mocks Joao Gomes in new Wolves message
Wolves forward Matheus Cunha took to social media to poke some fun at teammate Joao Gomes who is celebrating his birthday.
Gomes, who turns 24 years old today, has established himself as a key player for Wolves as they seek to put more distance between themselves and the relegation zone.
The central midfielder has started all 25 of his appearances across all competitions, scoring three goals and providing two assists in his 2108 minutes of action.

Cunha, 25, who has also been linked with a move away from the club, has been their best player so far this season, starting 22 of his 25 games across all competitions, scoring 12 goals, and providing four assists in his 1987 minutes on the field.
The Brazilian took to Instagram to wish his teammate a happy birthday, saying: “My brother, you know how much I love you, in spite of all the daily work. Happy birthday.”

Both Gomes and Cunha starred in their sides 2-0 FA Cup win over Championship Blackburn on Sunday (February 9), scoring a goal each.
Wolves’ attention will be firmly back on the Premier League for now, however, as they prepare for a trip to league leaders Liverpool.
