Matheus Cunha has relayed another mysterious social media message as speculation over a move to Manchester United refuses to die down.

Man United are expected to strengthen their attacking options this summer and have been linked with a number of forwards, with Cunha remaining a name of interest.

Football Insider first reported back in November that Man United had expressed interest in Cunha, and while he signed a new deal with Wolves in February, rumours about his future have continued to swirl.

Cunha recently shared a controversial message directed at Wolves fans–one he later deleted–which only fuelled frustration from some sections of the fanbase who questioned both his conduct and commitment.

Now, he has posted yet another cryptic message, reigniting talk of a potential exit as the summer window draws closer.

The Brazilian forward posted a photo from a recent training session, captioned: “Let’s work shall we… Too much conversation.”

Questions around the striker’s future have lingered for months, but speculation has grown stronger in recent weeks.

Manchester United supporters are now convinced Cunha is set to sign and his on his way to Old Trafford after footage emerged of him chatting with Ruben Amorim before Wolves’ 1-0 win over United.

Although there was significant interest in the January transfer window, Cunha signed a new contract at Molineux, stating his desire to remain with the club while they were fighting to avoid relegation.

That contract, however, includes a £62.5 million release clause, which has reignited interest from several Premier League clubs ahead of the summer window.

Cunha has been a standout figure for Wolves this season, scoring 16 goals and providing four assists in 2,486 minutes across all competitions.

Gabby Agbonlahor has urged Aston Villa to steer clear of Cunha due to what he described as problematic actions off and off the pitch.

Additionally, Football Insider also reported that Arsenal have concerns over Cunha, with sources indicating the club has concerns over his attitude and overall fit in their dressing room.

Despite those doubts, United appear undeterred and are believed to be positioning themselves at the front of the queue. Whether a formal bid materialises remains to be seen, but the forward’s future is likely to become clearer as the summer unfolds.
