Matheus Cunha sends one-word message to Wolves fans in update
Wolves star Matheus Cunha provided fans a training ground update as the side look to move on from the loss to Liverpool and prepare to face Bournemouth.
Wolves will be looking to bounce back from their narrow 2-1 defeat to Liverpool, a game that saw Cunha find the net and briefly give his side hope of a comeback.
Despite the loss, the Brazilian forward delivered another strong performance, but the match wasn’t without controversy.
Former PGMOL chief Keith Hackett told Football Insider that Konate could’ve been sent off for Liverpool after a foul on Cunha—yet referee Simon Hooper took no action.
Despite the disappointment, Cunha sent Wolves fans a message and has now turned his attention to the next test, offering a glimpse of preparations ahead of the team’s clash with Bournemouth on 22 February.

The Wolves forward shared a training update on Instagram, keeping his message simple with just one word: “Routine.”
Teammate Andre responded with emojis, while former Wolves star Pedro Neto also showed his support by liking the post. Despite the controversy surrounding his clash with Konate in the Liverpool defeat, Cunha interacted with the Konate’s post afterward, showing there were no hard feelings.
The 25-year-old has been the side’s standout performer this season, starting 23 of his 26 appearances across all competitions. His goal against Arne Slot’s side took his tally to 13 goals for the season, along with four assists, underlining his importance to the team.

Vitor Pereira needs Matheus Cunha on form to avoid relegation battle
The Brazilian international committed his future to the Midlands club by signing a new deal in January, despite constant transfer speculation. However, Football Insider has revealed that Cunha is still expected to leave Wolves in the summer window.
For now, though, the side managed to keep hold of their key forward, and his goals remain crucial. Even though his strike against Liverpool was merely a consolation, his form will be vital in the club’s battle for survival.
Vítor Pereira’s side are precariously positioned just two points above the relegation zone, ahead of Ipswich. With tough fixtures ahead, including a difficult test against an in-form Bournemouth side pushing for an unlikely Champions League spot, Wolves will need Cunha at his best to steer them to safety.
