Cunha committed his future to Wolves by signing a new deal in February, despite interest from Arsenal and Manchester United.
Football Insider revealed that Wolves were bracing themselves for several offers for Cunha in the winter transfer window, but he ultimately chose to stay.
However, John Percy of The Telegraph has now reported that the new contract includes a €75 million (£62.5m) release clause, which had initially “delayed” the agreement.

It was initially believed that he had agreed to a new deal earlier in the window, but Football Insider later reported that Arsenal had entered talks with Cunha after rumours surfaced that he was stalling on an extension.
Arsenal were in the market for a forward during the January transfer window but ultimately failed to make any signings, as the Brazilian opted to extend his stay at Molineux.

He has been a standout performer for Wolves this season, despite the team’s struggles in the league.
The Brazilian has scored 11 goals and provided four assists in 23 appearances, starting 21 times in the Premier League.
Pereira will be hoping that transfer speculation dies down as Wolves battle relegation. With his attacking quality, Cunha will be crucial to their hopes of staying in the top flight.
