Matt O’Riley completes Brighton medical as record-breaking fee agreed – sources
Matt O’Riley is undergoing a Brighton medical on Saturday after Celtic accepted their record-breaking bid, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League club have agreed a deal in principle with the Glasgow giants to sign the in-demand midfielder.
O’Riley is set to join Brighton for not only a Celtic record fee, but a Scottish transfer record.
The Scottish giants have rejected a plethora of offers throughout the summer, including five from Atalanta.
The Hoops wanted to recoup a record fee for his services, and Brighton have been willing to pay that to make it happen.
