McManus issues ‘big’ Josip Juranovic verdict after Celtic source’s transfer update
Celtic could sell Josip Juranovic for far more than their £5million valuation in January.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the defender’s potential exit.
On 30 November, sources told Football Insider that Celtic are confident of agreeing a £5million-plus January deal for Juranovic, 27, as the club face losing their star defender, just 18 months after he joined following the collapse of contract extension talks.

The Parkhead outfit have tried to extend Juranovic‘s deal but negotiations failed to result in an agreement and the club have given the green light for him to leave if they receive a bid that matches their valuation.
McManus claims Celtic could receive more than their £5million valuation if a bidding war breaks out.
“I think Celtic will be trying to flog Juranovic for a big fee,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“How much could they get for him? They have to be looking for between £4million and £5million, for me.
“I think he only came in for £2million last summer so Celtic will be looking to double their money at least.
“He has now gone to the World Cup and done alright so that won’t have harmed Celtic’s chances of getting a decent fee either.

“What you really want is a couple of teams to come in for him and drive the asking price up, a bit of a bidding war.
“It sounds like there is a lot of interest so maybe that will happen.”
In other news, McManus claims Celtic are already planning to sell a recent signing as ‘big’ claim made.
