Medical today: Derby County agree to sign Charlton Athletic star Corey Blackett-Taylor – sources
Derby County have had a bid accepted for Charlton winger Corey Blackett-Taylor with the player set for talks and a medical on Friday (19 January), sources have told Football Insider.
Blackett-Taylor is entering the final six months of his contract at The Valley and Derby have made him one of their top targets this month.
The 26-year-old has been a stand-out performer for Charlton so far this season, with nine goals and seven assists in 28 games across all competitions.

Blackett-Taylor came through the ranks at Aston Villa and was highly regarded at Villa Park before joining Tranmere in 2019 – and then Charlton in the summer of 2021.
He made just two appearances for the Midlands giants before leaving on a free transfer.
The forward is now set to complete the formalities of a move to Derby, who are chasing promotion back to the Championship.
He joined Charlton in 2021 and has gone on to notch 20 goals and 14 assists in 97 games – most of which have come in League One.
Blackett-Taylor has also played for Tranmere and Walsall in the third tier.
The 26-year-old has exclusively played as a left-winger so far this term but is also vastly experienced on the opposing flank.
Derby, who are managed by Paul Warne, sit third in League One and are just one point adrift of first-place Portsmouth.

Meanwhile, Charlton are 13th in the table.
Football Insider revealed on Thursday (18 January) that the Addicks are in advanced talks to sign Port Vale striker Uche Ikpeazu as they look to boost their firepower.
