Celtic 25-year-old can be massive player in Rodgers squad but future remains uncertain
Sooner rather than later Celtic will have to decide if they want to keep or sell Tom Rogic.
The 25-year-old Australian, whose mercurial midfield skill is unmatched in the Scottish game, has not yet signed a new contract with the Hoops, with the Australian website the World Game reporting in February that he had rejected a new deal.
Brendan Rodgers later denied the report, but the fact remains that as the midfielder approaches the last year of his contract his future with the Hoops is up in the air.
If Rogic hasn’t signed a new deal by the end of the season, the Hoops might have to reluctantly decide to sell the player.
It would be a blow to the club and it’s supporters, but it is important that they player doesn’t leave on a free transfer if he decides to quit the club.

Rogic can still be a massive player for the Hoops for the rest of the season, his brilliance was shown in the fabulous goal he scored against Motherwell, and he was one of the few who looked like doing anything in the recent draw against Motherwell.
Hopefully the player and the club will put their heads together, and Rogic will agree a new deal with the Hoops.
However, if a new deal can’t be agreed, it may well be time for the player to head to pastures new.
