Michael Owen predicts Liverpool clash with West Brom, criticises the Reds ability
By Amir Mir
Michael Owen believes Liverpool will have to settle for a draw against West Brom on Sunday afternoon at the Hawthorns.
The former Premier League winner was critical of the Reds’ ability to defend aerial balls as he feels that will be a “thorn” in their side at the weekend.
Tony Pulis is known to set his team up in a robust and strong manner adding to the fact that they make the game very physical for the opponents.
Going by Owen’s comments, Jurgen Klopp will point towards their 2-1 win at Stoke last Saturday, another team known for its physicality and aerial threat.
Nonetheless, ahead of the weekend match, former England striker Owen offered his thoughts on the match.

“I feel the hosts’ aerial power could prove a thorn in the Reds’ side,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Liverpool showed their class and flair at Stoke last weekend but may have to settle for a point in a game where I expect to see chances and goals at both ends.”
Klopp will be hoping to secure Champions League football with Liverpool this season with Tottenham and Chelsea already nailed on for top four places.
Antonio Conte’s side will more than likely win the Premier League title, with second-placed Spurs, who are seven points behind, hoping to close that gap.
Other than that, the likes of Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United and Arsenal are all hoping to finish in the top four.
Two big teams are set to miss out, with Arsenal, who were beaten 3-0 at Crystal Palace on Monday, currently seven points behind fourth-placed City.
In other Liverpool news, this 17-year-old would be axed in the Reds best possible XI to face West Brom.
