Two stars set for crucial head-to-head clash in deciding Rangers v Celtic showdown
The midfield battle is always vital in Old Firm games, and Sunday’s match at Ibrox looks to be no different.
If Rangers want to get the three points that keeps their title hopes alive, they will need to control the centre of the park in a similar style to how they did in the second-half of the Old Firm game at Celtic Park in December.
The ironic thing is that one of the most important players for the Light Blues was not even at the club when that game took place, with Sean Goss having arrived in the winter window.
The German born midfielder has been a revelation in the middle of the park since joining the Gers from QPR on-loan in January with the 22-year-old adding some steel to a Gers defence which lacked that element earlier in the season.
His ability to hit a mean free-kick has also been noted, and he has scored two so far in his short time at Ibrox.

His battle with Celtic captain Scott Brown will have a big say on which said – if any – is able to pick up the three points.
Brown has recently dominated proceedings at Ibrox and if the Gers want to win the game they must hope that Goss is able to minimise Brown’s impact on the game.
If Goss can do that, it could propel the Gers to victory.
