Rangers midfielder Emerson Hyndman is expected to deliver another positive performance and run the show against Motherwell. The 20-year-old has been in great form since his January arrival on loan and continues to impress everyone. The central midfielder has chipped in with four goals in 11 appearances for the Gers, but there is so much more to his game. The deep-lying playmaker is brilliant clever in possession and has already become the heartbeat of the side. Hyndman also works extremely hard defensively and his consistent performances have become important. He can be expected to be at the centre of Rangers’ game at the weekend and could play a big role in the final outcome.
Hill to cause a threat
Rangers defender Clint Hill has become renowned this season for being a major threat from set-pieces and that should be on show again at the weekend. The 38-year-old is a brilliant presence in the opposition’s penalty box and an obvious target from a corner. He has now scored six goals this season across all competitions, including two in his last two league games. Hill managed to pop up with a crucial late equaliser against bitter rivals Celtic recently and is a major goal threat for the side, something the Motherwell backline will surely be aware of.
Waghorn to star
Rangers forward Martyn Waghorn appears to be getting back to his best and that is something that could Motherwell could be on the wrong end of at the weekend. The 27-year-old has scored three goals in his last four league games and is recapturing the form he showed last season. Caixinha will be keen to get the best out of the English striker and he certainly can be deadly in the Scottish top flight. He has netted 15 goals in 31 appearances this campaign and it would be no surprise to see him increase that tally during the rest of the season.
