Mile Jedinak has told fans that Albert Adomah is Aston Villa’s most skillful player ahead of Saturday’s clash against Rotherham.
Jedinak chose 18-time Ghana international Adomah ahead of attacking stars such as Jack Grealish, Jonathan Kodjia and Leandro Bacuna as he was quizzed on his Villa teammates.
Australia captain Jedinak also revealed that Villa’s best trainer was midfielder Gary Gardner, while back-up goalkeeper Mark Bunn is the funniest player at the club.
“Probably Albert,” Jedinak told Villa’s official YouTube account, when asked who the most skillful player at the club is. “He likes to try a few things every now and then.”
Adomah, 29, is known for his explosive pace on the flank after joining the relegated Premier League side in the summer as part of a deal that saw Adama Traore go to Middlesbrough.
This season, the former Bristol City winger has had a hand in 11 goals in claret and blue throughout his 30 league and cup appearances.
Scoring three times against Cardiff and Preston, Villa’s number 37 has also laid on eight assists for the likes of top scorer Jonathan Kodjia to find the back of the net.
Villa will be hoping Adomah’s skill will be put to good use on Saturday against Championship strugglers Rotherham, as Steve Bruce looks to mastermind a third consecutive win.
However, Villa’s dismal away record has seen them win just twice in 19 outings away from home in all competitions, and a trip to the New York Stadium could seem them struggle.
In other Aston Villa news, Tony Xia has revealed that he almost bought this huge Premier League club in the summer.
