Mills: Aerial colossus Antonio will be thrilled after early Leeds team news pre-West Ham
Michail Antonio will be looking forward to returning for West Ham against a depleted Leeds United this weekend, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender claimed Leeds’ man-to-man style of play will suit Antonio.
The West Ham striker missed their last Premier League game through suspension and then did not feature in the Carabao Cup.
He received a red card in the dying stages against Southampton earlier this month meaning he has not featured for two weeks but David Moyes confirmed he is “fit”.
Despite his absence, Antonio is still the Premier League’s joint-top scorer, along with Mo Salah and Bruno Fernandes, with four goals.
Marcelo Bielsa revealed in his pre-match press conference Leeds will be without Diego Llorente and Robin Koch while Luke Ayling is also a doubt.

Pascal Struijk will also miss the match as he serves the last game of his three-match suspension.
“Antonio will be looking at the way they’re playing thinking ‘Wow, they’re open, they’re going to go man-to-man’,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“With his pace and his power he must going ‘Corr, yes, I’ll have a bit of that’.
“Leeds have to be very, very aware of that and the pace that he offers in behind. The power of his running is exceptional.
“He’s also very, very good in the air when balls come into the box, let’s not forget.
“Whoever plays in that defence is going to have to be very, very mindful of the aerial threat from all over the pitch. We know West Ham are strong in those areas with the likes of Soucek. It’s going to be a big test for Leeds.
“They’ve been fragile in the past at set-pieces.”
