Mills Exclusive: Leeds system change tipped v Chelsea as training footage emerges
Danny Mills has suggested Leeds United could line up with a back three against Chelsea with Robin Koch a major doubt.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley, the former Whites and England defender insisted Marcelo Bielsa will have worked with his squad this week to come up with a solution to Koch’s injury.
Football Insider revealed on Friday the German international is a major doubt for the visit to Stamford Bridge after missing a couple of days of training with an undisclosed injury.
Koch was also not seen training along with the rest of the senior squad in a video of a training session released by the club before the game against Chelsea.
The 24-year-old has been an ever-present in the Premier League this term partnering club captain Liam Cooper and Pascal Struijk at the heart of Bielsa’s defence.
The Argentine could hand Diego Llorente a Leeds debut after he recovered from an injury that has left him unavailable since his £18million summer move.

Asked by Football Insider how Leeds will line up without Koch, Mills said: “Struijk is definitely an option.
“We’ve seen Bielsa go three at the back, we know he’s a very clever manager.
“He’s very good at manipulating the team and changing things.
“If he’s been missing for more than a few days then Bielsa knows this is coming and he’ll be amply prepared for this.
“Llorente could be an option. His hand might be forced with that Koch injury and whether Pascal Struijk goes straight in or he decides to risk Llorente for the one game.
“There’s a couple of good options in there. Of course, it’s not perfect but everybody is having to deal with situations at the moment.”
