Mills: Leeds dressing room handed 'huge boost' pre-Leicester
The win at Norwich City will have handed the Leeds United dressing room a “huge” boost, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender claimed the Leeds players will have been questioning whether they were in real trouble if they did not get a result at Carrow Road.
It was the team’s second win of the Premier League season and puts three points between them and the bottom three.
As quoted by Leeds Live, Marcelo Bielsa insisted his side fully deserved the win and the scoreline could have been bigger than the 2-1.
Leeds’ next game is on Sunday when mid-table Leicester City visit Elland Road.
Asked what impact it will have had in the dressing room, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “It’ll be a huge boost.

“Obviously beating Norwich who are down there and everyone else has beaten, if you don’t beat them, you really start to worry a little bit. Not that you’re hitting the panic button, but you start to think ‘Are we in real trouble?’
“If you don’t win that game, you start to think ‘Who are we going to beat?’. Then it becomes a little bit difficult.
“You don’t want to be that first team that Norwich get a result at.”
Leeds lost 4-1 when Leicester came to west Yorkshire with Stuart Dallas scoring for the Whites.
At the King Power Stadium earlier this year, they won 3-1 with Dallas, Patrick Bamford and Jack Harrison on the scoresheet.
