Leeds tipped to seal last-gasp O’Brien deal after source update today – pundit
Leeds United could still pull off a late-window deal for Lewis O’Brien, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Whites and England defender admitted O’Brien may not be able to cope up with the step up to the Premier League.
Football Insider first revealed on 13 August that the midfielder wanted to quit Huddersfield Town and move to Elland Road.

The latest from a Leeds source to Football Insider is that the club’s pursuit is still alive ahead of Tuesday’s transfer cut-off.
It is said the Whites value him at half of that.
Asked whether a deal could still be struck, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I’m sure if they get the right offer in and they can get some money in…Money talks. So, there’s no reason why not.
“The offer has to be right. You don’t need to get rid of people just for the sake of getting rid of people.
“If there’s a decent offer that comes in, the player wants to go and it works for everybody then yes, there’s a chance that can happen and it’s a big move.
“I know a lot of Leeds players have done it over the course of times but the step up to the Premier League is big. It’s a big jump from Championship to Premier League.
“You’ve got to be confident that the player is going to come in and be better than what you’ve got in those positions.”

O’Brien has scored five goals and provided seven assists 85 games across all competitions for Huddersfield.
The 22-year-old has played four games this season after missing the beginning of the campaign with illness.
In other news, a bold Leeds United player prediction has been dropped as he is spotted jetting out of England.
