Mills shares bold West Ham prediction after 'speaking to Moyes'
Danny Mills has suggested West Ham can launch a real bid to break into the top-four this season.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Man City and England defender revealed David Moyes’ West Ham side have a real advantage over his Everton side after speaking to him.
The Hammers are now three points clear of fifth-place Man United after their 4-1 win over Aston Villa on Sunday.
They are two points behind Liverpool who sit in second and the two meet at the London Stadium this weekend before the international break.
“They’ve got a superb manager,” Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“I look at the job David Moyes is doing at West Ham and it’s not dissimilar to the one he did at Everton.

“When you’ve got players that are not necessarily superstars but are good players and he’s got them organised, he’s got them fit, they’re playing good football. He’s managing the squad, he’s got them fit, he’s clearly respected and has a good backroom team.
“You give David Moyes a little bit of money, in comparison to what others have spent, and give him time and he’ll get you a very, very good side.
“He always needed a centre-forward at Everton. I remember speaking to David Moyes at the 2010 World Cup and he said ‘We’d love to go and spend £25million on a centre-forward’. £25million back then was the equivalent of £80million or £90million in today’s market. He said ‘We can’t do that so we’ve got to work with what we’ve got’.
“They never had that out-and-out goalscorer, with that, maybe they would have got into that top-four.
“Perhaps with Michail Antonio, West Ham have got that.”
