Mills shares one-word verdict on West Ham signing striker in January after reveal
West Ham may “possibly” look at signing a new striker in January, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Man City and England defender insisted fans should not panic despite West Ham’s recent struggles in front of goal.
David Moyes’ side have not won or scored more than once in a game in the Premier League since last month’s international break.

Michail Antonio, the club’s only senior striker, has only found the net once in his last 10 domestic games.
As quoted by football.london today (3 December), Moyes insisted he has full faith in his number nine because he is still finding chances.
Asked whether the Hammers could look to bolster their striker options next month, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “Possibly.
He added: “But they are still fourth in the table after 14 games and they would have snapped your hand off for that.
“It just goes to show how far West Ham have come when they are slightly disappointed by being fourth in the table.
“They haven’t spent big. This is down to David Moyes recruiting on a small budget. It’s also down to him being a very good tactician and very good man-manager.
“There is no need to panic in any shape or form. It might be disappointing to West Ham fans that they haven’t won a couple more games but is he the right man to lead you going forward? Yes.”
Despite his recent struggles, Antonio still has seven goals and four assists in 16 games across all competitions this term.
The 31-year-old also won his first Jamaica cap earlier this season and now has two goals in three games for his country.
In other news, there has been a big update on James Tarkowski’s Burnley future after a £7m West Ham link.
