Mills suggests Sancho may have downed tools at Man United after update
Jadon Sancho does not want to run and is not working hard enough in Man United training, according to Danny Mills.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Leeds United and Man City right-back delivered his verdict after Anthony Elanga started over Sancho as Man United were held to a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Saturday (15 January).
As quoted by the Manchester Evening News on Sunday (16 January), Ralf Rangnick insisted his decision was impacted by the club’s busy schedule.

Elanga performed well at Villa Park and Rangnick praised him again today (18 January), via club media, and claimed he did exactly what he wanted him to do.
Asked what that means for Sancho, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “We know Sancho has got fantastic ability, we know he can create and score.
“What’s the only reason you can imagine he’s not playing? Maybe he’s not putting it in during training, he’s maybe not doing what the manager wants him to do.
“He might not want to defend or run. Clearly, the manager is not seeing what he needs to see in training.
“It’s not that he isn’t fit enough, it’s not that he doesn’t have the ability, it must be because of his attitude.”

Sancho has scored just two goals in 23 games across all competitions for United since moving from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
The 21-year-old has started five of Rangnick’s seven Premier League games in charge of the Reds.
In other news, Kieran Maguire has named three star players who joined Man United in the last year for more money than Man City offered them.
