Mills: Casilla told to 'deal with it' as Leeds tell him to find a new club
Danny Mills has claimed Marcelo Bielsa has told Kiko Casilla his Leeds United time is up.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Whites defender tipped Leeds to sell the £40,000-a-week star after he was left out of their matchday squad against West Ham United on Monday night.
Casilla took to Instagram following the snub to post a cryptic message in Spanish saying “Believe me that once I get tired I won’t come back again, because I give everything before I leave.”
His agent then told fan page Lufcfanzone that the message had nothing to do with Leeds and he was committed to seeing out his contract that expires in 2023.
The latest twist comes as he was not pictured in a training video posted by the club to Youtube.
First-choice Illan Meslier and teenager Elia Caprile were pictured working hard at Thorp Arch but Casilla is nowhere to be seen.

Asked whether he expects Casilla to leave the club in the summer, Mills told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “You’ll be looking at as a manager and thinking ‘Right, he’s on decent wages and if he’s surplus to requirements we need to say to him now you’re not going to be number two goalkeeper, you’re not going to be on the bench.’
“He’s got two years left on his contract so now is a chance to move on.
“As long as it’s done in the right way it’s not a problem. Meslier has come in and done a good job. If that’s how Bielsa is going to go, that’s how it’s going to go.
“You have to deal with that. As long as it’s done in the right way, it shouldn’t be a problem.”
