Mohamed Salah could quit Liverpool and sign for Euro giant – sources
Mohamed Salah will have no shortage of takers if he leaves at the end of his Liverpool contract next year, sources have told Football Insider.
Saudi Pro League clubs have long been mooted as a potential destination for the legendary winger, but it is believed elite European sides could also table offers for Salah – who remains at the peak of his powers.
The Egypt international, 32, put the ball back in Liverpool’s court once again with his comments after a brace in the 3-2 win over Southampton on Sunday (24 November).
Salah told NBC Sports: “We are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club. I’m probably more out than in. You know I have been in the club for many years.
“There is no club like this. But in the end, it is not in my hands. As I said before, it is December and I haven’t received anything yet about my future.
He added that he is “disappointed” not to recieve an offer from Liverpool, who he joined back in 2017 from Roma.
